In the post we ran the other day on the current locations of former Divco factories, I seem to have given the Continental-Divco factory on East Jefferson Avenue short shrift, something that reader Mike Burns handily corrected with several photos he recently sent us of the former Continental-Divco factory, which still stands with nary a fence or guard post to keep curious automotive historians away.
Though from the time the latest satellite and aerial photos of the location were taken until the time Mike took his photos, some demolishing has taken place. Any local automotive historians interested in photographically preserving the factory should probably head over there sooner rather than later.
Thanks, Mike!
