GM has officially unveiled the all-new 2010 Buick LaCrosse, which will be officially unveiled in a few days at the Detroit Auto Show.

The all-new LaCrosse further defines Buick's current global design theme, which was previewed with the Invicta Concept at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show.

For 2010 the LaCrosse is available with either of two V6 engines, a 255 horsepower 3.0L V6 or a 280 horsepower 3.6L V6. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive is available.

Inside there is a new two-tone interior that features an in-dash navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, an auxiliary audio input and a USB port. A DVD entertainment system for the rear seat passengers is also available.

Notable safety features are the Side Blind Zone alert that notifies the driver if there is another vehicle in the driver's blind spots, an available head-up display in the windshield, and an available adaptive lighting package.

Production of the new LaCrosse starts this summer.

Finally a Buick that isn't incredibly boring.
